Di'Anno recently entered the studio with German producer Deiter Roth to begin recording his new album for a 2009 release. Di'Anno stated in June 2008, "I have already fully recorded five of the songs in Germany (at Dieter's studio) and I will have the whole album finished by the end of this year. The album is very different to anything else I have ever recorded and I am so very excited about this album as it really is the business."

Di'Anno in 2006 re-released his 2000 effort, "Nomad", with a few tracklist alterations, under the title "The Living Dead" (Cleopatra Records). The package comes with a bonus DVD that contains the music video for "The Living Dead" and an exclusive in-depth, tell-all interview in which Di'Anno discusses his days with IRON MAIDEN.

Fan-filmed video footage of Di'Anno's October 17, 2008 concert at Odisséia Music Hall in Punta Pora, Brazil can be viewed below.
